Challenge: Launch and Maintain a Clinical Resource Web Site for the Prevention of Catheter Associated Blood Stream Infections (CABSIs)

The purpose of TargetBSI.com is to serve as a value-added resource for clinicians in the infection control community. The site is supported and funded by Baxter Healthcare Corporation.

Blitz + Associates, Inc., in conjunction with Intersites and the Baxter Healthcare Corporation, developed and launched a new e-learning center to serve the infection control community in hospitals and medical centers across the United States.

TargetBSI.com e-learning Center Hosts Webinar Series and Related Resources

  • Provides clinicians with a greater understanding of patient safety issues related to the prevention and detection of catheter associated blood stream infections (CABSIs) in hospitals.
  • Provides resources to help improve their professional/clinical and organization’s performance in CABSI control and prevention.
  • Serves as a practical, “hands on” resource for bloodstream infection problem solving.
  • Provides interactive opportunities with clinical thought leaders who have a unique expertise and knowledge in CABSI prevention and management.
  • Expands access to the body of clinical evidence-based resources for the prevention and management of CABSIs.

  • Interactive live and On Demand webinar events on a wide range of topics.
  • My Target Tools history: an online personalized record of in-progress and completed courses as well as access to resources such as Best Demonstrated Practices links and tools.
