Alan Blitz

Alan has served a variety of businesses within the healthcare industry. His career on both the client and agency side of the business allows him to bring a unique perspective to each project. In 1990, he founded Blitz + Associates, Inc., specializing in medical education planning and project management services and the business has evolved into a leadership role in hosting online learning programs.

Alan earned his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Journalism at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. He is a member of the American Medical Writers Association, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. In addition, he is a member of the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education and the Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education.

Alan was the first consultant to receive the Baxter Healthcare, Medication Delivery Division Recognition Award, for outstanding service to the corporation. He also was named “employee-of-the-year” at Abelson-Taylor-Fitzsimmons.

Caron Blitz, co-founder of Blitz + Associates, Inc., specializes in public relations for health and nutrition companies.

Caron is PR counsel for Cognis Nutrition and Health, now BASF Nutrition & Health. For more than two decades, she has helped position the company as a global leader of health-enhancing ingredients for functional foods, dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals. As a result of her efforts, BASF is:
